After four inspiring editions of the MBArk2Boulder Sustainability & Food Leadership Conference at the University of Colorado Boulder, our hosts decided that they no longer want to open their buildings for events in early January, when the school is not in session. We appreciate the sustainability motivations behind that decision, and respect the need for the hard-working behind-the-scenes staff to spend some time with their families.

We had some discussions about moving the event to a different week. But the first week of January is one of the only times of the year when almost no universities are in session, and hence all students are potentially available to attend. Pushing the conference back by even one week, according to our research, would create a conflict for 38% of all universities.

So we are now looking for a new host venue for this wonderful event, and hope to see you in January of 2026!
